May 31st... Seriously???

Could it seriously be the last day of May already! This month has gone by so fast in our little Russell World! So much has happened... so much fun, laughter and a little bit of sickness!

This last week we went to Indio, California with Trevor's family! It was so much fun! We spent everyday soaking up the sun and kissing on precious nieces and nephews that we rarely get to see! We got to laze around in a lazy river, have great conversation with Trevor's siblings, their spouses and of course Trevor's amazing parents that provided the place we stayed at! There is no words I can say to tell you how amazing it was!  The end of the week together a little flu bug went around through each family and I think pretty much all 22 people ended up getting a part of it, if not all of it! (Thankfully Livy has not gotten it yet... but Trevor had it the last day and I had it yesterday)

Before we went on vacation Trevor and I went to go get an ultrasound of our precious little baby that will be making it's appearance in October! I have been feeling since I found out I was pregnant that it is a boy and guess what.... It is a BOY!!! We were hoping for a girl for the sake that he would make grandkids in Trevor's family an even 7 boys and 7 girls... but we were hoping to have the first boy in my family! Looks like Trevor will get his little man after all even though he never thought we would have one! We are more than thrilled and I can't wait to start shopping for fabric to make his bedding!

I have a ton of pictures to show but as of right now I have no idea where our card reader is... Boxed up somewhere!

As for moving! We are officially moved into our new place! But the only thing that isn't ready is.... the whole house... I mean who actually has a new house completely unpacked and liveable after only 2 days! We have beds set up and our room is pretty much where we want furniture to be besides missing one dresser and Livy's bed is set up but the rest of the house will just have to wait till I can get to it! I am unpacking at least 3 boxes a day if not a little more... and even that wears me out!

Happy last day of May peeps! We hope June finds you with joy and laughter!

9 things that are on my mind right now!!!

1. Moving.... Will we be able to get into the house before the weekend? We leave next week on Tuesday for vacation for a week and would love to have the house clean before we leave so the Kimberlin's have a clean place to come home too around June 1st!

2. Livy... She has another high fever and runny nose and no sign of sickness but maybe teething

3. Doctor appointments... I always hate dr. appointments cuz I hate being around all the sick people in the waiting rooms. Baby check-ups for Livy and Appointments for me!

4. Packing... Why is it so stressful to pack?!? Probably because you have to unpack a week later to find stuff you need.

5. Trevor... He is so dang good looking! How could he not be on my mind all the time!

6. The Weather... What is up with the hot weather with crazy wind? I love spring and summer with rain showers or the sun to lay in... but I don't understand why there has to be wind! We cannot get our yard work done until we have a calm wind day to pick up all the weeds blown in the yard or all the leaves left over from fall!

7. Indio 13er'... Resort in Indio, California. Lazy river, kids pool/adult size pool and the beach for one day! 7 full days of fun in the sun with the Russell family I love so much! Need I say more!

8. Baby Flutters... Yup! I have been feeling our little Ross or Rosaleen Russell so much since last weekend and he/she is not even 18 weeks along yet! (Why yes that is an announcement that I am pregnant and due in October)

9. Ultrasound... We have a scheduled ultrasound on Monday! We are so excited! We will not be finding out the sex of the baby though... We want them to write the results in an envelope and seal it so we can reveal it next week on Wednesday when we meet all Trevor's family at the resort in Indio.

We are having such a awesome month of May!!! What is on your mind right now?!?

I know.. I know

So I know I said that I would post after our Anniversary trip to the valley... BUT....... I guess I din't take into consideration that right after we got back we would start packing up our house to move to our new rental!

I have no idea where our SD Card reader so you will just have to wait a little bit longer till we can officially move to the new place and settle in! Plus the new place doesn't have internet yet so it may be a month before I post!

-Indio 13'er (A family vacation with all of Trevor's Siblings, their families and kids and his amazing parents that rented the resort for us all.. We are super excited.. Only 12 ish days till we start driving there)

Trevor and I also received Jury duty for this month. His is the week before Indio but mine is the day before Indio (Grand Jury Duty) so we are hoping I can get out of it so I don't miss the vacation we have had planned for over a year now!

So much fun and exciting stuff happening this month! Just wait until I can post about it all and show you about all our adventures we have coming up!

Lasagna Mama

It has been so long since I last posted and I really have a lot a can post on but you will just have to wait this after this weekend when i can get good pictures to go with the post!

To tide you over till I can post, here are a few pictures of the Lasagna Monster that we discovered lives at our house! We never knew she lived here till the first time she ate Lasagna! I think we have her addicted now!

Spring Happenings

I can't believe that it is almost Summer! March is almost over and school will end in only a few more weeks! Time sure has been flying by in our house lately! Trevor has about 6 more weeks of school plus finals week! Olivia turned 14 months this week and is growing up way too fast! Kim is busy keeping up with a growing toddler and keeping up on bills and a house that turns into a mess quick with the toddler running around!

We didn't get to do anything fun for Spring Break because we will be going on 2 full weeks of vacation this summer.. So Trevor has to work as much as possible to keep the business ahead of summer vacations (plus I didn't think it was fare for him to take off a couple days this week for Spring Break when we will be leaving in 2 months for a full week to California)

New news is that we officially traded in Granny the Grand Am for a 2010 Chevy Impala! We absolutely love it! We were gonna get a 2006 Jeep Commander but the more I thought about it I had a bad feeling about getting it and we both couldn't get past the thought of having to pay $100 a week in gas because it got 15 miles per gallon! It was a super nice car but we needed a car that would get good gas mileage so Trevor could use it to drive for school and work and not be forking out money every week! The Impala we bought is a charcoal gray/blue color ! It depends on what light you see it in! It has what looks like a bran new engine and parts... under the hood looks very well taken care of! It seats 5 but looks like there is enough room in the back seat for 3 car seats so we can grow into it a lot! It drives so smooth and is very quiet! You can barely tell the car is on when listening to it! The selling point that made us fall head over heals for this car instead of the Commander is it gets average 30 MPG on highway and 26ish City MPG! That is double the Commander and 8 more than we got in Granny (or goldie, depending on if you are talking to Trevor)

Granny the Grand Am was starting to over heat a lot and get very squeaky when turning corners. We were very afraid she would cer-plunk on us while driving to California one of the 2 times this summer! So we quickly got in touch with the best used car dealer in Northern Arizona (my Uncle Jeff Hancock) and got a car picked out and signed for in a week!

We are really busy all the time trying to keep up with a super busy toddler and also working on finding a new place to live! I think we have found a place to live that is in our same ward... but we jut need to wait to see what they say after they remodel the water main breaks that happened in the house! We should find out by the end of April so we can move in hopefully by the 2nd weekend of May so I can have our current place cleaned out of all our stuff!

The highlight of our day is when Trevor gets home, and Livy stand by the window waiting for him to drive into the driveway, and we can spend the evening talking and playing games and eat dinner together and then giving Livy a tub! Which by the way is still her favorite thing to do... she is gonna have so much fun this summer swimming at the resort and going to the beach on our vacations this summer!

We love the little family that we are! We love spending time together! We love to get Olivia laughing... she is such a happy and easy going little girl! I hope you had as great of the month of March as we did! Happy April in 4 days! WOW! Time is flying by this year!

So glad I get to spend the rest of eternity with him! He makes my life so much better... And plus he makes a great dad to our little family!
