Life as of lately....

Our life lately has been pretty busy! Now that Trevor finished classes for the semester things are starting to slow down around our house but he is just starting to get busy for winter at work.

I am just gonna put a little congrats insert for Trevor. He took Biology and Chemistry this semester, including the labs for each. Before the semester even started I told him that he is on his own for chemistry because my brain does not process it but I will help him out with Biology. Throughout the semester he learned to love Chemistry more than Biology. He did all his research papers and homework without me having to remind him, which is amazing because that guy hates school. He is starting to get into the mind set that his pre-req's are almost over so he will finally be studying in his feild of choice which is Nursing. He is hoping to apply or already be in the nursong program by this time next year. He passes his Chemistry class with an "A" and his Biology class, which we thought would be a bad grade, he passed with a "B." I am very proud of him and his hard work. He had a hard time being away from our family all the time, and I mean "All the time", but he did a great job. We are so proud of him.

Olivia is growing like a weed. She loves to quote movies and make up songs and dance to music when we have it playing. Her favorite movies to quote are Tangled, Hotel Transylvania, UP, The Croods (which we rented a couple weeks ago and she still quotes all the time), Cinderella, Madagascar, Despicable Me and a few others. She is almost 23 months old and is such a happy and helpful little girl. She loves to love on her brother. She has a fascination with blowing zerbit's on his head or cheek lately and he is completely ok with that. She loves to sit next to him and hold his hand or hold her hands out and ask to hold him herself. She loves to throw away her own diaper's and her brothers too. If she isn't able to throw away the diaper's because we do it instead then she gets very upset. She is such a great sleeper for a nap during the day and always sleeps through the night (unless it is a rough night.. which we have had a few of those lately because she has had an ear infection but is over it now) She is such a great big sister and we love her so much.

Hyrum is almost 7 weeks old and is growing up way too fast. He weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce when he was born and weighed 11 pounds 8 ounces at his month old appointment last week. (they had to make his appointment for later because it was around Thanksgiving) He is starting to smile when you talk to him and has the most precious crooked smile I ever did see. He sometimes laughs in his sleep and snores a lot too. He loves to be held and loved on. He gets a grin on his face when his daddy talks to him and he always calms down if he is crying once he is held by his mom. He is such a good and happy baby. He is having a hard time figuring out how to fall asleep on his own for nap's but night time is almost pretty regular with only waking up twice at night. He is such a good brother to let his sister love on him as much as she does and we love him so much.

Kim is happy and healthy. She has lost all of her pregnancy weight and a little bit more which makes her very happy. She is loving being a stay at home mom as her 2 kids teach her patience every day. She is happy trying to keep up on cleaning the house and paying bills and sometimes gets behind. But she is loving where life is right now and so in love with the great guy and kids she gets to spend Eternity with.

Trevor is working very hard every day to stay warm as he is out in the cold delivering propane. Winter is always a crazy time of year for the propane business. He goes to work around 8am and gets home around 5pm everyday. He loves his 2 little kids so much and tries to spend as much time as possible getting Hyrum to smile for him or Olivia laughing. He is such a great dad, husband and provider for our family. He is very busy with work but always makes time to spend with his wife and kids. He is our Super dad!

We sure hope that life is treating you all well and that you are enjoying this beautiful Christmas Season. Remeber the reason for the season and try to keep Christ in Christmas. This is truely the most magical time of year.

Here are a few pictures to update you of what our kids look like lately... and a few other goofy ones!!
