I got a monster in my closet
Someone's underneath my bed
The other day i was cleaning up the house like a mad women so Liv was baracaded in my room with toys. I came in the room and I could not find her... she had crawled under our bed and was playing with a pair of my socks. After I saw her under my bed I got a song stuck in my head so I had to take pictures of her in my closet too. Guess what song inspired the post?!? The title of the post is the name of the song... name the singer! (don't cheat)

Is it really almost September?
July and August have really flown by in our house! We were gone most
of July and now that August is over we wonder what we have done this
month to make it go by so fast! Here are a few pictures of our August
adventures so far!
We went with Trevor's brother and parents to Lyman Lake last weekend |
Liv ate some mud and played in the water all day |
Liv had a blast and loved getting dirty |
She was a happy girl all day long |
I could not get enough of taking pictures of this sweet heart |
WE even did a foot imprint in the mud |
Trevor and Gavin after a day of fun in the sun |
Sweetie Pie |
Trevor's mom Kristi and Trev just sitting in the shade |
Liv was telling Gavin a story and I got a picture and she wasn't happy that I did |
Trevor on the stand up jet ski on the left and Gavin on the sit down on the right |
Getting some love from my little munchkin |
Trevor taking the canoe out |
After a long day in the perfect weather.. Gavin and Trevor couldn't get the jet ski to hook up |
WE have had a fun summer so far and we cant wait for the fall... so we can see more of this....
Crooked smiles |
Chubby Cheeks |
Wrinkled Noses |
Fist Pumps |
Bed Maker Helpers |
Playing Alone |
Big Blue Eyes |
Treats in a Basket |
Peek-A-Boo |
Hide and Go Seek |
Plump legs and booty's |
And more time to spend with Grandparents that we love |

Balloons and White Tape
I love pinterest! I am not a member of it but I love going on it to find new ideas of DIY projects for cheap. I have been wanting to do a craft for a long time for something to do while Liv is sleeping during the day. I found this great idea of something for her bedroom. Buy yarn, school glue, starch, and different sizes of balloons. Mix the glue and starch with water and dip the yarn through it and then wrap it around the balloon. Let it dry for 24 hours or more an then pop the balloon.
It was such a messy project so I did it in my bathroom with a tarp on the floor. The glue mixture drips only for a little bit as you are wrapping it on the balloon but dries quick.
I used them as mobile of some sort over Liv's crib and then had extra so here is the result.
I am going to hang them from fishing wire that is clear one day but right now this how it will look.
I also have been wanting to make a growth chart to map out how Olivia is growing so I got white Duck Tap that we had in our tool box and stuck it back to back for now and measured every 2 inches all the way up to 6 feet. She has grown 7 1/2 inches since birth. She is going to be so tall.
And just because I have been wanting to post pictures of what Liv's room looks like I took pictures of that too.
I love her little room and love how good all my hard work looks all put together. Happy Monday All!
4 of the left are 2 days hanging, 5 on the right are just wrapped |
You can do different colors of yarn or get white yarn and spray paint it whatever you want it to look like |

The white stripe on the wall is the growth chart.. and it is held up with push pins |

We are going to trade for a taller dresser someday... but we aren't in any hurry to go get it from my parents house |
Where I rock Liv to sleep every night! The drawers are 1st drawer- diapers, 2nd- lotion, q tip's, brush, etc and 3rd-wipes (bedtime essentials) |

Blonde Bomb Shell
I have been debating for over a month if I should cut Liv's hair. The two sides I kept thinking was I didn't want to cut it too early because she is still only 6 months.. But I also hate fixing it in pony tails everyday and if I don't fix it she looks like a little rag doll. So I asked Trevor on Saturday night last week if he even cared if I cut it and he said he likes it long but it would look better all the time if it was cut... SO........
WE also got a photo shoot of her last night too. SO here are her 6 month old pictures of how precious our little munchkin is. I still think she is the prettiest baby girl out there.
